Follow the below steps
to interact with
Voice and Pen's chat-room guests:

1. CLICK on below chat-room link to enter chat room;
Note: Disregard "unknown command!" message.

2. HIGHLIGHT and OVER TYPE the name,"guest," with your name or nickname, and press ENTER.
Note: The displayed message will be your new name: "whatever name you typed in followed by (line 0, 1, 2, ...)."
Example: If you TYPED in "Doug" and if you were the FIRST guest to enter the chat room, you would see the response,"Your new name is Doug (Line 0);

3. Note the 7 BUTTONS at the bottom of the screen; the first button is titled, "Logoff;"

4. CLICK on the button titled "Whois" to see the guests currently logged into Voice and Pen's chat room. If youn are the FIRST guest to enter the chat room, two new lines of information will be displayed at the bottom of previously displayed information. Note that the SECOND displayed line from the bottom states: "List of users in this channel (voiceandpen.com [2])." Also note that your presence as a guest in the chat room is displayed as [0] "Doug;" the other guest is the [channel owner]; and

5. However, if there were a chat-room guest named [1, Paul], you can send a message to Paul by typing it into the "Message" text-box located directly below the 7 BUTTONS at the bottom of the screen.
Example: "1, How are you Paul? I haven't talked with you in Voice and Pen's chat room in quite some time." (do not type the double quotes in your message to your chat-room guest. Note that the FIRST character 1 (one), is the numerical designator assigned by the system to represent Paul.
