On July 21, 1953 I left Tampa, Florida to join the United States Army. My first assignment was to go Fort Campbell, Kentucky for 16-week basic training. Therefore, my first of many assignments began. On February 28, 1975 I retired from the US Army - after 20 years of military service. While in the military, I was able to work and travel to various locations in the States and overseas.
