I created this web site to generate a travel journal that captures the various locations that I have travel, from the years 1953 to 2000, a total of 47 years. In 1953 I left my hometown of Tampa, Florida to join the US Army. Since then various jobs have taken me to many locations. I retired from the US Army after 20 years. I was a US government employee for nearly 10 years. And I worked as contractor, in the private sector, for 17 years. Most of these jobs required travel in the States and overseas.
Currently, my wife (Christine), daughter (Patricia) and I (Matthew) reside in Lorton, Virginia. However, my son (Herbert) lives in Greensboro, North Carolina.
